ebay record crack

2 interesting records:

Steve Hurley "Work It Out Compilation"
Marred a bit by 1989 pop cheese, but redeemed by "Chain Of Fools" with Risse channelling
Aretha, and "Drive Me" by Jamie Principle.

Jamie Principle "You're all I've waited 4" -- Matt McQueen tipped me to Jamie Principle, who
is a singer who has a smooth vibrato. This track has an interesting melody, and no Jamie P
track is complete without him simulating sex on the mic. The E-Smoove Late Night Mix is probably
the track to cane.

The circum-1990 period in House music is interesting because people started making records that
define the House sound that people are still working with, but there's still a tinge of that 80s sound, and even a bit of Kraftwerk still bleeding through. Steve Hurley may be one of my
favorites of all time, because he always has interesting musical ideas, and keeps tracks bumping.
