angryrobot says 'Barfly' is a kinda cool movie. I saw it years ago, so I look it up on imdb.com. I recalled that the author Charles Bukowski (who wrote the screenplay) had a bit part in it, and looked in IMDB to see if he had any other film appearances. Which leads me to ...
in which Charles Bukowski plays "Drunken Partygoer" -- the role he'd prepared a lifetime for.
One of the IMDB Comments: "...Charles Bukowski wanders drunkenly through a party scene wearing a shirt that says "Water boy for the wet T-shirt contest ..."
Unfortunately "Supervan" isn't available on DVD or VHS ... I'd pay good money to see that. Hell, I'd pay good money for that T Shirt.
