Can you ever really have too many flabby underproduced jam tracks?


Maybe no one cares -- I won't be offended if you don't, but another in my series of studies for playing live with the live sampler...

This one showcases what actually practicing on an instrument can do. It took me literally hours to get to where I could play the fingerpick parts more or less correctly for 16 bars straight. Maybe if I keep practicing on the guitar I will get to where I can play respectably in real time.

I like the drum sounds on this. Something kinda Phil Collins about it with that fat reverb.

The biggest thing working on this stuff has brought home to me is that it's really hard to do everything by yourself if you're trying to actually play an instrument. This would be a better piece if I'd been able to at least switch up the drum patterns more than once in 5 minutes.
