So, listening to the Patrick Fitzgerald today was interestion. My thought when I heard him speak is that he is one of the only people currently working in our Government whose speech and actions give me reason to hope for this country. Everything he said pointed to one thing: correctly upholding the rule of law in this country, without malice or bias, is evidence that a country can exist which treats everyone equitably and with the respect they deserve. The measured way he gave as much information as he could, while scrupulously refusing to answer any question in a way that would violate the laws governing his actions as a prosecutor, and how he defended the possible subjects of his investigation, shows that he's thought hard about how to effectively and ethically to do his job.|
If you haven't listened to the press conference, it's worth tracking down.
