Sunday Mornings With Wolf [Feb. 26th, 2006|10:53 am]
Okrzyki, przyjaciel!
OK, so some Sunday mornings I'm awake, but I'm too lazy to do anything but watch TV, so I watch News channels to try and kid myself that I'm doing something useful. Getting informed or something like that.

So this morning, just as the caffeine was reaching my brain finally, Howard Kurtz was interviewing Anderson Cooper about, err, Anderson Cooper. Oh and Anderson Cooper was in Louisiana in front of the wreckage of something. Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!

Then it was Wolf Blitzer interviewing the Presidential Stephen Hadley. First of all WOLF: INSIDE VOICE DUDE. If this yelling-in-a-monotone gig on CNN doesn't work out, he could get work in a lighthouse as a foghorn.

Second of all: Stephen Hadley is a chimp. The main requirement for working for Bush, aside from an ability to implement policy with your tongue up Bush's anus, is a pathological blindness to anything that reflects negatively on the Bush Administration. Clinton had one intern sucking his dick, Bush won't be happy until everyone in the whole White House, down to the gardener, lines up for a turn on the salty dog. Maybe his strategy all along has been to get historians thinking "maybe Warren G Harding wasn't so bad after all."

I'm not sure the world can make it through three more years of the current clusterfuck, and I may well put a gun to my head if I have to hear much more of their ridiculous fantasies. Did you hear Bush saying that the destruction of the Golden Temple was an 'opportunity?' Hell, by that standard 9/11 was an even bigger opportunity. Which if you think about it, is exactly how the Bush Administration handled it.
