Other People's Dreams Are Boring.

But every so often you find one. This one seems to be a mashup of the last few days, starting with seeing my friends play at the Mud River Music Festival saturday.

So I was supposed to be playing at a music festival, but every time I set up somewhere, I'd start playing and they'd make me stop and go to another stage. Eventually I ended up in some sort of auditorium, but there was no cables to jack my laptop into, and I was looking around backstage, and all I could find was a cable with bare wires. So somehow I was laying down on some curtains backstage, and I stuck the bare wires in my mouth and was performing a cover of "Tanz Mit Laibach" by chewing on the wires. They told my my set was over, and when I went back on stage someone had stolen my laptop.

I don't know what that means except it's bad to watch the "Tanz Mit Laibach" video right before going to sleep.

google fell over?

What's up with that -- google fell off the internet there for 20 minutes or so. I could get to any site that didn't hotlink to google or google analytics, but my google home page was inaccessible. Since I'm one of _those_ people who has become dependent on google and the personalized home page, I felt kinda lost.

And no, you don't need to explain it to me. I understand enough about it to know that full understanding is more trouble than it's worth.

Now everything's hunky dory again, and I can ping in 53 milleseconds. 53 milleseconds to california and back!
