|You want one example of why Mitt Romney is a Shithead?

I woke up in the middle of the night and Melissa had left the TV going. They were playing the Jan 6 Presidential Debate again, and I heard Mitt Romney say this:|
'...And the reason health care isn't working like a market right now is you have 47 million people that are saying, "I'm not going to play. I'm just going to get free care paid for by everybody else." That doesn't work.'
This morning I couldn't stop thinking about this: Is he really saying that people who don't get healthcare through their jobs, and can't afford to pay for healthcare out of their income are the reason that our health care system is broken? I had to look it up in the transcript to make sure I hadn't dreamed it and here it is.
The larger context of his comments had to do with saying that the free market can provide the most affordable healthcare. Based, I presume, on how effectively the free market has done so in the past. What holds us back from Health Care Heaven On Earth, apparently, are all the deadbeat losers who won't buy healthcare for themselves on their poverty-level wages.
This sounds like an entirely NEW way to blame the poor for society's problems, so I should give him credit for originality.
