... is kinda good. Worth watching. Aaron Sorkin's real talent is for making really breathless, talky television that is about something. He's not always on the money, but he's in his element again, choosing a setting for his new series that complements his strengths -- people in Hollywood talk just as fast and are every bit as full of shit as people in Washington. The West Wing never got truly awful after he left, but it lost a lot of it's addictively manic momentum. And the Bradley Whitford character has a problem with nose candy similar to Sorkin's own.

And the opening sequence, where Judd Hirsch goes in front of the camera and rants about how shit television is, is awesome. Someone should have done exactly that on Saturday Night Live years ago.

I agree. We were pretty enthralled with the whole show. I don't watch or pay attention to know who Aaron Sorkin, but you mentioned he was involved with the west wing and I can definitely see the similarities. Hirsch's rant spoke the truth - I love when tv shows can do that to themselves.

And its something to keep monday nights alive until 24 or the Closer return :)
