Okrzyki, przyjaciel!
"I think that Donald Rumsfeld will go down in history as one of the worst secretaries of defense in history," McCain said to applause.

Is McCain running for President, or the top job at the Department of Redundancy Department?

It's really sad that McCain is looking to score political points by kicking Rumsfeld after he's gone. McCain supported Bush and the Iraq war all along, and campaigned for Bush, squandering whatever integrity he had left.

Here's my view on the matter: If you're Republican, unless you A) apologize for supporting Bush's war and B) Actively work to end it right now, you need to C) SHUT THE FUCK UP. You've got blood on your hands too.

It's interesting how I've gone from "rabid McCain supporter" to "might not piss on him if he was on fire" in a matter of about 4 years.

Well, McCain has gone from a principled conservative -- with whom I disagreed on several issues, but could respect him as a person -- to a completely craven political hack. Giuliani is kind of a turd in his own right, and I'm not sure he'll survive being under the Opposition Research microscope. But if the press fails to find all the dead hookers in his crawlspace, he will make mincemeat out of McCain in the primaries.

I'm almost positive that if McCain manages to pick up the nomination, he'll veer back towards the center again. It's precisely what makes me angry about him; at one point he actually had some principles but those have all been tossed out the window of the Straight Talk Express.

I kinda like Huckabee, at least as far as the GOP nominees go.

Like John Stewart said, McCain's driving the Straight Talk Express straight to CrazyTown.

Pretty much. I've noticed McCain stopped making his quarterly Daily Show visits as well. Funny, that.
