Okrzyki, przyjaciel!
Here is a pretty pointless game I play:

I have a deep personal animus against Deepak Chopra, because he's a complete crap artist who has gotten rich selling wooly-headed bullshit.

But, he's a close buddy of Ariana Huffington, the founder of the Huffington Post, one of the most popular liberal blog/news/whatever website. So he gets to post his claptrap there.

Every so often I read one of his posts like this one that is so patently dishonest that I can't resist commenting on it.

I wrote a reply that was very civil, contained no obscenity, but deeply critical of the post and Chopra. They refused to post it. And the last time I did this, the same thing happened. Oh, and I commented on one of Ariana Huffington's posts which discussed some issue mostly as a pretext for fawning on all her celebrity friends, and that comment wasn't approved, either.

I don't even read most of the blog posts on that site any more because they're mostly so libtarded they make my teeth hurt. And I'm a hardcore lefty liberal from way back -- I just demand some intellectual rigor. When I've been criticized for being wooly headed I take it to heart. Apparently the Huffington Post is as uncomfortable with dissent as the Bush Administration. Which is a shame.

And if you think I'm being too precious about my writing? Maybe. But if you have absolutely nothing better to do, look through some of the comments on blog posts on that site, and ask yourself, could even Kent have written something that dumb?

Is this fun?

Reading the Huffington Post is honestly NOT my idea of a good time. :)
