In my initial reaction to the New Yorker Obama Cover I said of an equivalent McCain cover "McCain would be portrayed hunched over, hanging onto an aluminum walker, with his face in a red-faced scowl. His wife Cindy would be on her hands and knees, chasing a spilled bottle of pills, her face a botoxed rictus of junk-sickness."|
