He sure came off sounding like a complete ass. He tried to counter Al Franken's critique of him by calling Al Franken libelous -- even though he's never satisfactorily explained the things Franken called him on in his last book. Then he said that in a review of Franken's book in the New York Times, the REVIEWER was libeling him by mentioning things in Franken's books, and that the reviewer was out to get him because the New York Times 'secular liberals' were out to get him.
I guess that while I find his show pretty annoying, and him personally as very arrogant, I didn't know he was quite this deranged. The New York Times might go after the Mayor of New York, or the Governor, or the President, but it's the height of self-aggrandizement for him to think he even rates more than cursory notice by those at the Times.
